Few months ago when LG-Google Nexus 5 was launched, it came with completely new launcher which was informally called Google Experience Launcher(GEL). Now Google has released that launcher with name Google Now Launcher.
In Google Now launcher, the 'Google now' is part of your homescreen as leftmost screen. You can also access the search anytime by saying "Okay Google". We've tested this feature on Motorola Moto G & Google Nexus 4, "Okay google" works perfectly. Not like Moto X's touchless controls, GNL only works when screen is ON. When you will touch those six buttons to see your apps you will find that widget's pane is not there at all. Widgets can be added by tap-and-hold on homescreen(hello GingerBread). Other features includes furnished icons and animations.
Compatiblity
GNL is currently compatible with all nexus devices and Google play editions running 4.4 KitKat. Some devices running CyanogenMod 11 also supports GNL.
